Blockchain Student Group

The Blockchain Student Group (BSG) is an ITU student-driven organization that provides students with the opportunity to discover and explore the potential of blockchain technology, web3, and the metaverse. 

Everyone with an interest in blockchain and Web3 are welcome, regardless of their background or prior knowledge. Please do interpret ‘student’ in the Blockchain Student Group as a person who takes an interest in a particular subject, and for this matter, Blockchain.

Bitcoin – How it all started!!! 🚀
This event is about the origin and evolution of the world’s first decentralized digital currency, Bitcoin.

Attendees will get to hear from an industry expert, Bitcoin enthusiast, and early adopter who will share their knowledge and experiences about the history of Bitcoin. The speaker will probably cover topics such as the origin of Bitcoin, the role of cryptography and blockchain technology, the Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper, and the early days of Bitcoin mining.

A POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) will be distributed.
