We are happy to announce that Prof. Roman Beck and research assistant Signe Agerskov from the European Blockchain Center, will participate as expert members in the EU Expert Group on Blockchain Ethics.
The group is mandated by the European Blockchain Partnership (EBP) and will develop the first official European guidelines for blockchain systems.
As part of the European Commissions vison of making Europe digital sovereign, it is important to ensure that the European Blockchain Service Infrastructure (EBSI) is not only based on European servers, but also on European values.
These genereal blockchain guidelines will be this first step to ensure that the blockchain solutions have encoded European values.
