ITU Professor and Head of European Blockchain Center Roman Beck, has received a grant of 88.000 Danish kroner from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
The grant will fund a two-day workshop for researchers from Danish universities and research institutions, as well as researchers from the German-speaking countries, in collaboration with industry.
The planned workshop will create a blockchain research and -education roadmap. Furthermore, the workshop will define a prioritized agenda for the international scientific community concerned with investigating research challenges in the context of blockchain developments. In particularly the focus will be on research opportunities and challenges in the financial services industry. The workshop will be held in Frankfurt later this year.
