Prof Roman Beck participated as an expert member at the APPG on Blockchain Technologies Industry Roundtable.
The roundtable was organised by the British Blockchain Association to spark a discussion on Blockchain Beyond Crypto.
Prof. Beck shared insights on defending digital sovereignty from an EU perspective, as well as discussed issues connected to ethics, IP, ownership, accountability and shallanges connected to GDPR and smart contracts.
The event took place at the Palace of Westminster and offered a constructive, forward-looking discussion on how blockchain technology can be used to benefit the UK.
